About Me

ELLYN DYE—I am an Intuitive Coach, Public Motivational Speaker, Author, Reconnective Healing Practitioner, Photographer, Vibrational Catalyst, and a Practical Mystic. A Near-Death Experience in 1985 expanded my psychic abilities and created an ongoing link with some very loving—and humorous—Guardians of Humanity, who gave me a huge amount of information about life and the evolution of mankind, and who continue to guide me. I bring this knowledge and connection to my clients and audiences, along with over 30 years' accumulated wisdom and understanding of metaphysics, life on earth, and Who We Really Are.  

LION MAGIC—During my Near-Death Experience, those humorous and loving Guardians of Humanity that I met were Lion Beings.  It has been a great gift to me that those Lion Beings have stayed in contact with me, and that I brought a bit of their Lion Magic back with me. They continue to give me support, guidance, information, and inspiration, and they help me with my writing, coaching, and life. 

     Death really is the final frontier! But it's not really FINAL! It's really the ultimate in metaphysical (greater than physical) experience, the ultimate transformation/transition from one dimension or reality to another. And no, we don't really die; only our bodies die, while "we" continue on into new experiences.

      In 1985 I had a Near-Death Experience (NDE) or, as some of us say, a Death Experience. I was in a car accident, a head-on collision. I was suddenly floating about 12 feet above the ground, looking down at my car. I saw a tunnel filled with bright Light, and I moved through it and arrived at a place of amazing and timeless love and joy. I saw relatives and friends who had died many years before, including my mother, and they were all doing GREAT! I basked in the total Unconditional Love of God, and I spoke at length with a group of Beings of Light, magical Lion Beings, gentle, loving guardians of humanity. They embodied and expressed that Unconditional Love, knew everything about me, and lovingly embraced all of me—the good, the bad, and the ugly (that was my judgment, of course; they didn't judge at all!). And they had an amazing sense of humor! They told me all the Secrets of the Universe, of Humanity, and all the Secrets of Myself—a lot of which I later forgot! And then I was suddenly back here on good old 3-dimensional Earth (and NOT very happy about it!) and I had to integrate everything that I experienced into my everyday life.       Now, several decades later, I have (mostly) integrated the experience, and I have done the (long, hard) work to heal myself, to uncover my authentic self, and to live authentically. And I believe that's why we're all here. To live authentically and BE who we are. You don't need an NDE to do that. In fact, anyone who is on the Spiritual Path is probably moving through the same process I did. I believe we are all being called to go through this process right now, because we are all in these times of great change. We have to learn to love ourselves and get out of our own way. We have to examine our lives and ourselves, and let go of everything that isn't authentic and doesn't support us. I'd guess that most people don't need to have an NDE to do this. I think I was so off track that the Universe had to hit me in the head with a car to get my attention, and then gave me a Time-Out with the Elders, so they could straighten me out!

    I was a professional writer/editor for several decades, and now I am having fun writing only about topics that are close to my heart, like the Great Shift we are all undergoing, and how we can navigate the waves of change without being dragged under! And I am (finally!) working on a book about my NDE and what I've learned from the experience and integration of it.

       I am active in the NDE community, locally and nationally. I am a founder and organizer of NDE R&R, an annual retreat for those who have had NDEs and other life-transforming experiences; I was for many years the organizer of the Experiencers' Lounge at the annual conferences of the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS); and I have been a member of the Board of the Maryland IANDS group and the Virginia Beach IANDS group. I often go around the country, giving presentations about my Near-Death Experience and what I've learned, and about the Great Shift of the Ages (why it all seems so crazy out there). And I periodically teach classes. In 2024, I was the NDE speaker at the Edgar Cayce A.R.E. conference on Reincarnation and the Afterlife.

   Of course, I love doing my Intuitive Coaching and Reconnective Healing work. I meet so many amazing people through this work, and I feel that I am able to help them along their Journey. They always have something to teach me, too! That's just the way the Universe works!

    And finally, when I have time, I love to travel to places of high vibrations. I call them Enlightened Landscapes. I am an avid photographer, and I share my pictures from those places in my 13-month calendars. Check them out!
